What we intend to study, before we have the answers

Every study below is published as a question, a scope and a method - not as a finding. Results appear only once they are measured under the Employee Growth Standard, and only above the reporting thresholds.

We publish what we know, what we do not know, and what we are still testing.

No figures about growth at work are published on this site yet. Any number you see elsewhere in the demonstration environment belongs to a fictional organization and is labelled as illustrative.

State of Growth at Work

Research question
How is growth actually distributed inside organizations, and what separates a stated development policy from a lived one?

Planned methodology
Aggregate analysis of the four sources of truth, reported at pillar and indicator level, with population breakdowns above the minimum reporting threshold.
Expected publication
After the first completed assessment cycle.

Growth Leadership™ Report

Research question
How much of an employee's growth is explained by their direct manager, and what distinguishes a growth leader from a good manager?
Scope
Manager-level analysis within certified and refused organizations.
Planned methodology
Variance analysis between the Growth Leadership™ pillar, employee experience responses and measured mobility outcomes.
Expected publication
Once enough manager-level observations exist to be statistically meaningful.

Planned

Internal Mobility Report

Research question
Why do internal mobility policies fail in practice - manager veto, invisible openings, or the gap between what is promised, delivered and lived?
Scope
Organizations with a formal internal mobility policy in the assessed scope.
Planned methodology
Promise vs Reality™ comparison between declared policy, system-exported mobility outcomes and employee experience.
Expected publication
After two assessment cycles, to allow before / after comparison.

Early Careers Growth Report

Research question
What do the first five years of a career actually produce, and where does the growth curve break?
Scope
Employees with under five years of professional experience across assessed scopes.
Planned methodology
Growth Curve analysis by tenure band, combined with alumni outcomes for people who left within that window.
Expected publication
After the first completed alumni studies.

National Grow Index reports

Research question
How do growth environments differ by industry, size and population within a single labour market?
Scope
The first market where the number of certified organizations allows comparison.
Planned methodology
Register-based analysis, restricted to certified organizations and to categories meeting the Grow Index™ entry rules.
Expected publication
Once a market reaches a sufficient number of certifications.

Cross-country study

Planned

European Growth at Work

Research question
How do national skill systems, works councils and mobility norms shape internal progression?
Scope
Multiple European labour markets, once each holds comparable certified populations.
Planned methodology
Cross-country comparison of pillar-level results, with explicit controls for differences in labour law and scope composition.
Expected publication
Not before national indexes are published.
